MARY MULVEY JACOBSON Obituary Condolences                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        MULVEY JACOBSON, Mary On May 20, 2017. A great loss to all that knew her and loved her. Daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Mulvey. Predeceased by her husband Carl Jacobson. Devoted sister to Martin and Karen Mulvey of Seattle WA, Matthias and the late Rosemary Mulvey of Weymouth, Helen and John Connors of Jamaica Plain, Theresa Bundy of Beaufort SC, Tommy and Jacki Mulvey of West Roxbury, Maggie and Chris Kelly of Dedham and the late Rita Mulvey. Mary was a loving Aunt to Michele Connors, Michael Mulvey, Patrick Mulvey, Christopher Mulvey, Elizabeth Mulvey, Connor Mulvey, Meaghan Mulvey, Aidan Kelly and Quinn Kelly. Great Aunt to Matthias Mulvey and Asher and Hudson Mulvey. Stepmother to Eric and Karl Jacobson. Devoted friend to Susan Connelly of Franklin. Mary was the President of the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association, Chairperson on the boards of the Parkway YMCA and Ethos, President of the Irish Social Club. She was a member of the Ward 19 Democratic Committee for 20 years. Mary was also involved in numerous other community organizations. There are far too many to mention. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday, May 26th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Thursday from 3-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Mary’s memory to the Parkway YMCA, Family in Need, 1972 Centre St, West Roxbury MA 02132.
