After the announcement of the nomination of Mayor Marty Walsh to be the next US Secretary of Labor, the city has become awash in rumors, guessing and speculation about who will become candidates to replace Mayor Walsh. Councilors Campbell and Wu had already announced that they would be candidates. It is believed that the Ward 15 interviews will be the first public opportunity to hear from mayoral candidates in the short sprint to the special election in the Spring.
The interview of candidates for public office is part of the annual cycle of activities in the endorsement process of the Ward 15 Democratic Party Committee.
